Unmodified Liquid Epoxy Resin

Epokane™ 328 is Bisphenol A based unmodified liquid epoxy resin with medium viscosity. This is a standard liquid epoxy resin widely used in 2 pack amine, polyaminoamide and heat (acid) cured formulation. When cured with appropriate curing agent, it gives excellent chemical, mechanical, electrical and adhesion properties.

Storage

Epokane™ 328 should be stored in tightly closed original containers in a dry location at room temperature. Under these conditions, it has storage life of at least 24 months from the date of manufacturing. Like most of unmodified epoxy resins Epokane™ 328 tend to crystallize and become hazy when store below room temperature. The resin can be restored to its original condition by warming to 60-70˚C.

Epoxy Resin Solution

Epokane™ 301 X 75 is used in adhesive, laminates and coating applications such as metal coatings, concrete coatings etc. Variety of curing agents including polyamines, polyamides and phenalkamines can be used to cure Epokane™ 301 X 75 at room temperature. It can be used as modifier in stoving enamel based on acrylic/alkyd resin system.

Epokane™ 301 X 75 based products shows better drying and flexibility compared to products based on liquid epoxy resins.

Epokane™ 6100 solid unmodified epoxy resin is a medium molecular weight solid reaction product of Epichlorohydrin and Bisphenol A.

Epokane™ 6100 Epoxy Resin is a medium molecular weight solid epoxy resin used mainly in powder coatings. It’s esterification product with various fatty acids found application in range of protective and OEM coatings product. It can be incorporated in both decorative and functional coatings to provide improved viscosity characteristics and greater flexibility.

Epokane™ 6100 based products shows better drying and flexibility compared to products based on liquid epoxy resins.

Storage

Epokane™ 6100 should be stored in original packing in a dry and cool condition and should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Under these conditions, it has a storage life of at least 24 months from the date of manufacturing. It should be stored at 18°C to 25°C away from humidity and excessive heat. Please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for detailed instructions on storage and handling

Health and Safety Information

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE). Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. In case of direct contact and irritation, the resin should be washed off immediately with soap and warm water. Avoid breathing vapours, mist or gas. Please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for detailed safety instructions.

In case of spills, sweep up and shovel the spilled material. Keep spilled material in suitable, closed containers for disposal. Soak up with an absorbent such as clay, sand or other suitable material. Flush area with water to remove trace residue. Do not allow the product to reach the sewage system. Waste must be disposed of in accordance with federal, state or local regulations, as applicable
