Medium Viscosity Reactive Polyamide Resin
Alkamide™ 425 is medium viscosity reactive amino polyamide designed to use as curing agent in room temperature cured liquid and solid epoxy resin formulations and laminating adhesive.

Applications
Alkamide™ 425 is suitable for formulation of cold curing, solvent containing thermoset coatings. This resin also used in epoxy adhesive formulations. It provides excellent adhesion, flexibility and corrosion properties hence it is preferred choice as a curing agent.
Alkamide™ 425 and epoxy resin systems are recommended for application such as anti-corrosive protection for metals, ship building, construction industry, and adhesives.

Packing
Alkamide™ 425 is packed and delivered in 190 kg steel drums

Storage
Alkamide™ 425 should be stored in tightly closed original containers in a cool and dry location. The product should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight. It should be kept away from source of ignition. Under these conditions, it has storage life of at least 12 months from the date of manufacturing.
